Excellent starting point
By humbug
Many times we find ourselves committed to a compassionate response to difficult subjects but are stymied by the complexities of particular subjects and problems. The undocumented is certainly one such subject. This insightful book allows one to carefully understand the situation of the undocumented in the light of the Bible. It is clear and methodical and extremely helpful for us who aspire to be compassionate--with our feet firmly planted in our world and our faith.

God at the borders

Myers and Colwell present a solid case for justice among the immigrant community. They base their argument on personal testimony, biblical mandates to care for the least among us, and the fact that the vast majority of Americans come from immigrant backgrounds. Their case is solid, compelling, and challenging - especially at a time when so-called illegal immigrants are targeted by politicians as scapegoats for the ills of America. This is an important book that should not be overlooked.
